John Lofthouse is a dog behaviourist who we initially contacted requesting an interview in order to gain an expert opinion on how dogs behave in a kennel environment. As seen below in his response, we were unable to interview him and use his answers in our documentary. As John suggested we instead contacted Rosie Bescoby who allowed us to interview her and use her response in our documentary.

Below is the e-mail that we sent to Pet Studio, asking to film at their facilities and to interview a member of their staff. Below also is the response we received from Pet Studio, allowing us to use their business for a film point of our documentary.
Our documentary about the dog grooming industry has now developed to explain the positive and negative roles rescue and boarding kennels play in a dog's life. We aim to film and record interviews with Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, The Pet Studio (dog boarding kennel) and Rosie Bescoby (dog behaviourist). Each of these have agreed for us to interview them and the 2 kennel businesses are allowing us to film their facilities. Holly Hedge will give us an insight into how a rescue kennel environment rehabilitates dogs, rescue kennels also keep dogs off of the streets and away from abusive households. Filming at Holly Hedge, we aim to show how well dogs are treated in rescue kennels and to show how their lives are improved whilst being in these facilities. The Pet Studio is a boarding kennel which board dogs when owners are away for short periods of time. We aim to use this business to highlight how dogs behave when in a different environment and how kennel staff interact with the dogs. John Lofthouse was a dog behaviourist we originally contacted to interview about dog behaviour. We however are unable to use John for an interview as he is unable to be questioned but personally suggested an alternative dog behaviourist willing to answer our questions. Rosie Bescoby, a dog behaviourist suggested by John Lofthouse was willing to participate in our documentary and will be interviewed by us on her opinions on how a dog’s behaviour is effected in a kennel environment.

Kennel Cough-Possible issue with kennels to feature in the documentary
This is a respitory infection which is easliy spread from one dog to another when they interact. This infection is known to infect a dog at least once in their lifetime. Kennel boarding involves large amounts of dogs interacting with each other which encourages the spread of this infection. In some cases, this infection, if not treated can cause pneomonia, lethargy and even death. Dog Behaviourist Interview
How we will use Todorov's Narrative theory to structure our documentary:
We have now decided to change the focus of our documentary. We will no longer be filming Glastonbury as we have realised that our access to the town is limited. With Glastonbury being located further away from us than we would like, we have realised that if we required to return various times to film interviews or re-shoots, e.t.c. our time would be mostly spent travelling to the area.
We have now decided to focus on the dog grooming industry. We will be doing this by filming "behind the scenes" of a local dog grooming business Pet Studio. This business being local, allows us to visit as often as we require and due to my connections with the business, they were happy to agree to us making the documentary. As explained in our Prezi, we have decided to focus our documentary on Glastonbury. After a lot of brain storming, we discovered that Glastonbury offers beautiful landscapes (perfect for producing high quality camera shots) and allows us to interview many people of a spiritual background. Spirituality is the focus of our documentary, which is a personal topic for me. We will research the myths and legends of the tor itself and we aim to discover what people really believe about the small town. Even though we were unable to visit and film footage of Glastonbury festival, we have researched into other events and important places within Glastonbury. Possible events and locations
